MSA update

Timing at the MSA is looking more to toward Spring than Winter. We finally got our bank loan but frankly it was not good enough. We are continuing to work on another option for the loan. While I know it is sad to not be open as soon as possible the overall project will be so much better in the long run. We have been making revisions that will for sure please you all. I will share when we have a couple more things locked down. Take care if anyone has questions they can email me at Kira@gadsdencompany.com.
Cheers,

Graffiti at the MSA

Agh, this sucks so much. After paying a fortune to coat the Merdado San Agustín in "Graffiti Coat" the product failed us and the graffiti is not coming off. After many fights with the manufacture we are still in a battle over responsibility. But most likely we will have to replaster the entire West side of the building. Our policy is to remove it as soon as it happens but as you can tell we can't get it off.

A-Mountain Can Be Interesting During the Mornings

I tend to bike A-mountain every other morning before I go to work. However, last Thursday as I was nearing the top, I was approached by police officer on a bike. He told me there had been complaints regarding bicyclist who exceed the 15 mile per hour speed limit on their way down the mountain. I though this was hilarious. But he told me that if the complaints continued a squad car would have to be dispatched to help patrol the mountain during the morning. So, if you happen to bike A-mountain be careful not to go over the speed limit. Yes, I know this seems like a joke, but it is your tax dollars at work.

New Hipster Here

Hola,
I am home from my hip replacement surgery and moving gingerly.  Unfortunately I got a hairline fracture in the femur from the first prosthesis they tried, which they then removed and put a new one in.  So....I am not weight bearing for at least four weeks - which means my real recovery doesn't start for a month. Sigh.  Anyhow, if you come by and ring our doorbell, please know I cannot make it to the door nor navigate the stairs.  If Phil is here, no hay problemo.  Or call first and I can let you in the back door....  I'm eyeing A Mountain already.....
